How can I purchase a Birkin or Kelly bag?

Our Kelly and Birkin bags are sold exclusively through our physical boutiques (a list of store locations can be found at stores.hermes.com). Due to the numerous requests for these items, it is possible that the model you are looking for may not be available. We invite you to contact one of our sales consultants in-store who will be happy to provide you with assistance.

How do I authenticate an Hermès product?

The only way to guarantee the authenticity of an Hermès product is by making your purchase through our official website Hermes.com, at an Hermès boutique or through an authorised distributor (corner store in a department store, authorised watch dealer, etc.). An original invoice is created at the time of purchase for both online and in-store purchases. We cannot guarantee nor verify the authenticity of an item purchased outside of an official Hermès point of sale.

Do you offer catalogs?

Hermès does not offer a catalogue. However, we would be happy to provide you with a scarf or tie brochure which present excerpts from our collections, or our Le Monde d’Hermès magazine which presents the world of Hermès featuring a selection of our products, subject to availability.

How may I receive a sample of your fragrance?

We would be happy to send you a sample of your requested fragrance, subject to availability. Please send us an e-mail under the 'Contact us' section with your complete Australian postal address. Unfortunately we are unable to send perfume products including samples to New Zealand.


You may also visit one of our boutiques (a list of locations can be found at stores.hermes.com) where one of our sales consultants can present our entire fragrance collection to you with fragrance testers.

Do you sell your orange boxes?

The Hermès orange boxes are created to protect the products they contain. Each product has only one accompanying orange box; for this reason they are not available for individual sale or distribution.

Where are Hermès products manufactured? What kind of materials do you use?

Our bags, luggage and small leather goods are produced by our artisans at approximately 12 French leather goods manufacturing facilities. All of our silk items (notably, ties and scarves) are woven and printed at our factories in the region of Lyon, the birthplace of silk. Hermès also makes use of specific expertise, such as watch-making from Switzerland, cashmere from Mongolia, lacquer from Vietnam and wool from Scotland.
